North Face Cup 2

A quick update on the North Face Cup. The overall showing of the climbers was very strong at this event. Japanese boulderers seem to be in a league of their own. What I mean is that they are ALL uber strong! The event took place without a hitch with over 500 fans cheering on for the finals! Yuji did an excellent job putting this event together and I think he deserves a big shout out. Thanks Yuji-San!!

As I stated in a previous post, both the men’s and women’s finals went to a tie breaker. It was a very impressive overall competition with many figure-fours and horizontal splits. The results looked like this:
