Rising Sun

I have been waking up quite early these last few mornings since my trip to Utah.  The jet lag is all but worn off, but I am loving waking at 6-6:30 to beautiful sun rises.  This morning was no exception.

I snapped this photo out of my office window, uploaded and processed it right away.  I wanted to step back and take a minute to analyze what I  liked about this photo.  When I first looked out of the window before I wanted to grab my camera, I noticed the contrast in the sky.  That  was what drew me in more and led me to snap a photo.  While editing, this too grabbed my attention again.

While editing I try, as most photographers, to keep the photo as close to natural as possible, unless of course there is a certain look I am going for.  In this case the only editing that was done was one level adjustment and a slight desaturation.  I think the photo turned out nice for a office window shot.  What do you think?  What morning sun rise photos do you like? Most memorable?
